I sorta didn't get to the race early enough. I got there about 7:?? am.I also
; Pre-Reg. so HAHA I didn't have to wait in line forever. I'm not sure if the
15-16 had a place for the race but I was there for it. Had a decent warm-up
got the roll out. I road the course twice one time with my small chainring and
the other with my big chainring. I did it twice and I remembered all the pot
holes and stuff on the road. At the starting line we had to wait for a few minitues.
After that we were off. I had a hard time cliping in the pedal I think its becuase
I got really nervous but the good thing was I was at the starting line. I had
to try like 3 times and got in.
First lap I was behind Matt M.'s wheel I guess I trusted him and I followed
him and I was second on the first lap. After the 180 turn around I tried to
easy sprint down the hill so I can get the speed back. On the bottom of the
hill there was a right turn I tried to avoid hitting reflectors, I also heard
some kid crash on that turn. On the second turn there were holes in the middle;
there was only two choices go inside or outside. On a lap I was in the middle
of the turn so I hit the holes pertty hard.
On the left turn that goes up the hill I tried to stay on the inside and than
out because I thought of sprinting out instead of being stuck on the outside
and getting blocked. But on the last lap some one cut in front of me and I pulled
the back brakes and my rear wheel sorta hoped and slip but luckily I didnt crash.
The most intresting part of the race would be that how every body spread out
to pass the laped people It was also the hardest. I did see the rider that was
infront of me. Going up the hill there was this one rider I guess he got laped
and he was going very slow and I made a decision to pass him on his left and
I didn't see rajiv on my left so I sorta had to cut him off.But I did apologize.(Sorry
Rajiv).
I got 6th sorta happy about it but sorta sad. It was good for my first race
; in the season.
