Fred was born in 1951 and began racing in 1969 for health reasons. Fred feels lucky to have been able to be on the bike this long, 2006 marks his 37th year on the bike despite things like work getting in the way.
With so many years of racing in both Europe and the United States under his belt he is a valuable asset to the Juniors and to the team.
While currently racing as a Category 4 on the road and Category 2 on the |

track, Fred has achieved Category 1 rankings on both the Road and the Track, as well as a Category A status in France in 1977,78,79.
In additon to racing, he has also taken the time to become very involved in the sport of cycling and has been giving back to the sport for many years as well. He is currently a USCF licensed Club Coach, Category 1 Road and Category 1 Track Official.
