2012 will be my fifth full year in Tieni Duro colors, and I can honestly say I've enjoyed every one of them. I started riding in late 2006 with my friend Tyler Hanson. I've come a long way since my first ride with Tieni Duro as 12 year old, with my wide bars and tilted helmet. Many of my best friends I have met through cycling, and I know that they will continue to be my friends for a long time to come.
This year I also have the honor of being team captain; ergo I have many different roles to perform. Throughout the season I'll be working with the coaches and senior riders to effectively coordinate race day strategies and tactics. Furthermore, I'll work to set up and lead training rides, teaching the newer riders how to be succesful athletes. |
