I first got into cycling with the help of Tyler Hanson, who took me to a bike shop where I bought my first bike, a Lemond. For six months, he and I rode on a local bike shop team before being introduced to Tieni Duro at one of the races we did. I remember going on the first group ride with only Tyler and two other people, and being completely dead by the time I got back. I kept on going on the group rides though, and soon made many new friends on the team. I have really enjoyed all the time spent on the team, and 2011 will be my fourth full year riding on Tieni Duro.
2010 has been a really good year for me, because it is the first time I followed a training plan the whole time. I've had some really good results, and look forward to what is next. Right now I am very close to getting my Cat 3 upgrade and hope to achieve it at the end of this season or the beginning of 2011. I am also hoping to head to nationals next year, and see how well I do there.
