The Tieni Duro Elite Team racer is chosen at the coaching staff's discretion and is based on a combination of the goals of both the racer and the team. Elite Team racers are defined by strengths, history of results and teamwork, and ability to race safely in highly competitive fields. In addition to on the bike skills and requirements, all of Tieni Duro Elite Team is expected to maintain a 3.0 GPA or better.
In 2006 the Tieni Duro Elite Team will concentrate on sending the team's top 17/18 racers to the top Junior races in the country. These races include Junior National Championships, Redlands Criterium, Sea Otter Classic, Super Week and more. |
